Cissy Lloyd Jones DrMedVet MRCVS, Assistant
Cissy’s real name is actually Mechthild, which is German, but nobody in the UK can pronounce it. She qualified in Munich in 1972, and worked in the pharmaceutical industry in Germany for several years. She got to know small animal work first in a very busy practice in Cape Town, South Africa - quite an experience for somebody from the Black Forest: her first patient was a cape-penguin!
In Cape Town she also met her husband Dai, who was just “passing through” on his way from Wales, Iran and New Zealand. Cissy joined the practice in 1980 and has been working part-time since then.
